This article was tested succesfully with the following Kanotix versions:

Kanotix Dragonfire

If you boot the Kanotix-Iso it will start in UEFI or Legacy mode.

1. Legacy Boot

Grub-Iso-Boot-Legacy

If you see this grub-screen (with memtest) the iso is booted in Legacy mode.
After install you have to start the install also in Legacy mode !

2. UEFI Boot

Grub-Iso-Boot-UEFI

If you see this grub-screen (with EFI-Shell) the iso is booted in UEFI mode.
After install you have to start the install also in UEFI mode !
